Every parent wants what is best for their child. Most
parents also see the best in their child, often before others see it. However,
since most parents also want to believe that their child is special, they may
believe a child to be gifted who is actually just smart.
Whether your child is average, smart or gifted, you want to
be sure you do everything you can as a parent to see to it that your child gets
every opportunity available to succeed. This includes being involved in your
child's education and looking for new ways to encourage creativity and boost
